Welcome to 5th Grade! On the blog I am known as Mrs. M the wonderful 5th grade math teacher. :) This year will mark my eighth year here at Luna. I hope you are as thrilled as I am to see a new school year arise. This year is going to be an exciting learning adventure. I can’t wait to begin a new year with YOU!!!I'm sure your summer has been as busy as

How will this blog be used?
This blog will be used as a wonderful communication tool inside and outside of class. You will be able to stay informed, talk with classmates and me, and even publish your work. Parents and families we would love for you to come by often and take a look at what's going on. Here, you will be able to access important dates and information for 5th grade and see what your child's class has been up to. Feel free to comment or jump in our discussion. When posting, please use your child's cyber name and then your title like mom, dad, grandma, etc. at the end.
For example, if your child's cyber name was sunflower or zebra_gurl you would post sunflower's_mom or zebra_gurl's dad.
Before getting started there are a couple of guidelines you must follow:
- Always use your cyber name
- Never post your real name, including your friend's names.
- Respect others
- Treat others just as you would in the classroom.
- Keep your personal business personal
- Never post your address, telephone number or school information.
- Make your post worth reading
Once again welcome; you are now a sweet 5th Grade LL student!
